Pro's

  • Wide range of coverages
  • Lots of flexibility when choosing plans
  • Been in business for over fifteen years
  • Quick claiming process

Con's

  • All-inclusive coverage is expensive
  • Payout cap on plans

Here are the various insurance plans as well as the costs. I’ll also cover the customer support options for when you need professional guidance.

  • PetsBest allows you to customize your plan to fit your needs. You can choose between Accident and Illness or just Accident plans. You can also get routine care coverage for cleaning work, such as teeth cleaning or grooming.

The Accident and Illness plan covers various treatments such as accidents, hereditary and congenital conditions, and prosthetic devices.

Accident Only coverage only covers accidents such as broken bones. This coverage doesn’t include illnesses.

You can add routine care to your plan for an added premium. There are two tiers to routine care plans. One covers spay/neutering, and one doesn't.

  • The Accident and Illness plan varies greatly depending on the breed, size, and your location. Luckily, you can get a free quote in under a minute. Suppose you have an annual deductible of $50, a $5,000 limit, and 70% reimbursement. A one-year-old golden retriever would cost around $91 a month.

You pay $6 a month for cats and $9 a month for dogs for accident-only coverage. The best part is, this covers all breeds and sizes.

The routine care plan covering spaying and neutering costs $26 a month, while the other option costs $16 a month.

PetBest offers a 24/7 vet helpline that’ll answer all questions regarding your pet. When you become a customer, you’ll have access to this emergency helpline at no extra cost. PetBest also has live-chat and phone options for questions unrelated to your pet.
