Reimbursement and Deductibles
If you’re working on a budget, you’ll be happy to know that there are two types of reimbursement plans on offer. The Whole Pet with Wellness plan reimburses 90% of veterinary costs.
The Major Medical and Pet Wellness plan provides reimbursement depending on a benefit schedule.
This caps reimbursement at a set amount for each condition and service, so it’s important to ask for more details on this when you contact the team as they vary from pet to pet.
In order to get reimbursed, all you need to do is send an invoice to Nationwide Pet Insurance once your pet has been taken care of and they’ll send you a reimbursement.
The time taken to process your claim and reimburse your costs will depend on your location and the type of method you’ve used to submit your claim. You can receive payments online by setting up a Chase Payments account in just two working days!
If you’re doing things via fax or post, claims can take anywhere from between two weeks to 30 days to be received and reimbursed, but you’ll always be notified once your claim has been processed.
How Much Does Nationwide Pet Insurance Cost?
Basic medical coverage plans start at $34 per month while complete coverage starts at $64 per month.
Of course, plans are all subject to price changes depending on your pet, its age, and its risk factor. If you’re already a Nationwide member, you’ll save an additional 5% on your policy.
Customer Service and Satisfaction
As one of the most reputable insurance providers in the world, Nationwide Pet Insurance’s customer service is some of the best out there.
You can email or pick up the phone to speak to one of their friendly pet experts.
Our Rating – How Pawsome is Nationwide Pet Insurance?
It’ll come as no surprise to hear that Nationwide Pet Insurance is one of the best providers available.
We love the scope of plans they’ve got on offer and the customer service is great.
However, the prices are a little higher in comparison to other providers, and you’ll find the same flexibility on plans but at a lower cost with providers like Embrace and Healthy Paws.
